Smadar Samson is a curator and designer who works at the intersection of social justice, art and design.

Having graduated in Industrial Design, Education and Psychology, Smadar founded Creatif, a design consultancy integrating Inclusive Design in museums, hospitals, parks, cultural and educational institutions throughout England and Wales for over fifteen years. Smadar was a senior lecturer in Design at Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design, and a course leader of MA Design for Disability program at London Metropolitan University.

In California, Smadar gained the Therapeutic Uses of Art certificate at UCSD and applied her work to therapeutic settings, public art, and social design. Smadar holds a MAS in curating from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and among other exhibitions, she curated major retrospectives at Mingei International Museum, San Diego and at Cecut, Mexico.
